To show its readiness for the incoming school year 2020-2021 and preparedness under the new normal, DepEd Toledo City Division conducted a three-day webinar on teachers’ training on Modular Distance Learning (MDL) on August 13-15 2020 via Zoom and FB Live.
According to Dr. Jeffrey C. Lacson, SREPS-HRD, the webinar aimed to prepare school heads and teachers who will be handling modular distance learning during the re-entry of classes coming October 5, 2020.
The webinar covered the following topics: Distance Learning Delivery Modalities and Resource Requirements, Learning Modules and Process Flow in Modular Distance Learning, Provision of Instructional Support in Modular Distance Learning, The Role of Parents and the Community in Modular Distance Learning, Preparation of Class Program and Weekly Home Learning Plan, Preparation of Individual Learning Monitoring Plan for Monitoring Learning’s Progress, Assessment in Modular Distance Learning, Release, Retrieval, and Administrative Concerns in Modular Distance Learning and Practicum/Demonstration of Blended Distance Learning (Modular and Online).
