Another exclusive virtual tour by The Chocolate Chamber was conducted last October 13, 2021 via Zoom as they celebrate 10 years of chocolate connection in sharing tradition, innovation, and a culture of excellence. The exclusive virtual tour was attended by the Chocolate Queenโs loyal patrons, friends here and abroad.
This time, AJ, the 7th child of the โChocolate Queenโ was featured roasting the cacao beans and made the sikwate. While John Paul, the 9th child demonstrated tablea making the old fashioned way from pounding to molding using a โlusongโ and โaljo.”
During the virtual tour, the Chocolate Princess, Hannah Choa discussed about the Cacao Bean Evolution and a short video of the Legend of Maria Cacao was also played.
Meanwhile, Cacao Educator Edu Pantino highlighted the historical, cultural, and agricultural aspects of the tree of the food of the gods.
TCC Founder Raquel Toquero-Choa also shared the rich chocolate tradition and the wonders of Philippine cacao as they continue to link, collaborate, and sustain the cacao value chain.
