Base Camp Emergency Response Teamย Inc. was nominated by the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), an attached agency of NEDA, and the Central Visayas Regional Committee for the Search for Outstanding Volunteer (SOV) 2022, as the Region 7โs Mostย Outstanding Volunteer for the Organization as Non-Profit Category.
BCERTย will represent the Central Visayas Region for the national-level search. Will also be recognized as the regional awardee during the Regional Awarding Ceremony on December 2, 2022, in Quest Hotel, Cebu City during the 4th Quarter meeting of the Regional Development Council.
BCERT contribution for the past nine years was deeply recognized as they promote bicycles as an economical platform for emergency response.
BCERT CRU flexibility was tested during the pandemic and super typhoon Odette. BCERT is also part of Bike Scouts Philippines as a technical unit.
