As a comeback from the COVID-19 pandemic, Seda Ayala Center Cebu captured the real essence of Christmas with their Tree Lighting Ceremony held last November 9, 2022. Their Christmas tree was adorned with silver ornaments to celebrate the Seda Hotelsโ groupwide 10th Anniversary this December 1, along with gold and red accents for a heartwarming touch. The hotel lobby was also decorated with Christmas ornaments made from natural materials by a local community in Sogod Town, Cebu. Seda put together the tree and the whole lobby with its in-house talents from its housekeeping department headed by Executive Housekeeper, Harry Dale Seno.
The Ayala-owned property showed everyone that Christmas is more than just the ribbons, tags and shopping bags. It is about sharing hope, kindness, solidarity, love, and peace to one and all. This is what motivated the premier hotel to partner with Smile Train, an international charity focused on providing free cleft surgery and care for those in need. Kimmy Coseteng-Flaviano, Smile Train Vice President for Southeast Asia, shared the vision and the current situation of the patients whose lives changed because of this advocacy. Seda Ayala Centerโs General Manager, Gwen dela Cruz, and the whole management team were also present during the momentous occasion.
Friends from the corporate and media sectors were in holiday spirits while listening to the merry tunes of the Celestial Voices Choir and while indulging in festive flavours carefully-curated by Sedaโs kitchen team.
