For six amazing years, Mezzo Hotel has been holding the line to provide quality and excellent service to its guests and partner clients. Notwithstanding the global health crisis, it firmly thrives to outstretch its resources and operations to the most vulnerable, including the OFWs who were in dire need of assistance during the pandemic.
True to its branding, it has been consistently sleek and fine through its exceptional trademark in redefining comfort. As the city’s premier hotel destination, Mezzo Hotel takes heart to its people, as it is their top priority.
Mezzo Hotel recently celebrated its sixth anniversary last May 9, 2023 with the theme Mezzo Continues. Following this, Mezzo aims to express its gratitude towards its four fundamental pillars – the structure, the clients, their associates, and the community by hosting a series of events held throughout May and June.
Formally kicking off the month-long event, the celebration was sealed with a Holy Mass and a hotel blessing – celebrating the structure that is Mezzo Hotel. A short, intimate meal was then shared together with the associates – truly a good way to kick off the festivities.
Mezzo Hotel’s President, Shannen Keisha Tan, warmly offered her deepest gratitude to the associates for choosing and staying at Mezzo. She states, “we recognize that our success would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of each and every member of our team. Your commitment to excellence is what sets us apart, and we are truly grateful for your contributions to our ongoing success.”
One of the prime causes of Mezzo Hotel is to empower local communities through education, training, and livelihood opportunities. With that, a contract signing between Mezzo Hotel, Barangay Kasamabagan, and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VII was held last May 16 to officially establish and expand Mezzo’s Adopt-A-Community Program. This partnership centers around hosting a series of activities throughout the year 2023 tailored to improving the livelihood of various residents of Barangay Kasambagan. Truly Mezzo places value on people.
More than that, an Event Coordinator Appreciation Night was successfully held last May 24. It was designed to honor and recognize the unwavering support and dedication of the event coordinators who have been with Mezzo Hotel throughout the years.
In her closing remarks, Mezzo Hotel General Manager, Christine Bernardo said, “in spite of the recent challenges the hotel has experienced throughout the years – from the pandemic to the typhoon – our coordinators continued to place their trust in Mezzo Hotel. For that, we are truly grateful.”
Indeed, May has been a whirlwind of celebrations at Mezzo Hotel. However, the festivities continue on.
Anchoring to the Hotel’s core values, a Thanksgiving Night will take place on May 31 to acknowledge the loyal patrons and clients of Mezzo Hotel who have contributed greatly to where Mezzo is in the industry today.
This will be followed by a team building activity and Mezzo’s Quarterly Associates’ Day that will be held on June 5 and 6. This is to strengthen the associates’ bond, foster a sense of community among the associates and managers, and show appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
This year embodies a narrative of being on the brink of survival to staying afloat no matter what. Just like Mezzo, it thrives. However, this is not just a celebration of the hotel’s success, but also honoring the great pool of people behind the triumph. In the lens of Mezzo, people take center stage.
