Belmont Hotel Mactan celebrated its first anniversary in style with a festive media luncheon at Belmont Cafรฉ on June 13, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the hotelโs journey and underscoring its dedication to service excellence.
General Manager Johnson Del Valle warmly welcomed guests and expressed gratitude for their unwavering support over the past year. “Today is about celebrating all of you, our valued media partners,” GM Johnson Del Valle emphasized.
In a video address, Cleofe Albiso, Managing Director of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts, commended the media establishing the Belmont brand in Mactan. She remarked, “Time has shifted so fast, that itโs been twelve months since we opened our doors for you at the Belmont Hotel Mactan. Thank you for giving us a space, in your hearts and minds, in a dynamic market like the Mactan Island.”

The luncheon also featured the debut of new a la carte dishes by Executive Chef Paolo Aviso, inspired by the diverse flavors of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Culinary highlights included Palapa Rice, Belmont Ngohiong, Tinola sa Itom, Dinakdakan, Langka Rendang, Chicken Piyaparan, Crunchy Pata Kare-Kare, and many more.
The intimate event concluded with an exciting raffle draw, offering prizes such as an overnight stay in the hotelโs suite room, spa vouchers, as well as food and beverage certificates.
