SM Supermalls in Cebu have renewed their academic partnership with the University of Cebu on Monday, August 19. This collaboration aims to support students through internship programs, future job placements, and creating opportunities for collaboration, learning, and mutual enrichment.
SM Supermalls – Cebu emphasized that this renewed partnership, along with their participation in job fairs and scholarship grants over the next three years, is a testament to SM’s commitment to giving back to the community.Through this recent collaboration, SM Supermalls in Cebu aim to play a vital role in the city’s community development by fostering strong academic linkages.
The ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement at SM City Cebu was graced by UC’s Executive Vice Chancellor Atty. Jack Sarausad, Linkages and Marketing Coordinator Mr. Nino Ardiza, Campus Directors, Guidance and Placement Heads from various campuses, as well as HR Managers Andrietta Daniel of SM City Cebu, Christy Anne Mercado of SM Seaside City Cebu, and Liane Bureros of SM City Consolacion. Also present were Marissa Fernan, Vice President of SM Prime Holdings, Inc., and SM City Cebu Assistant Mall Manager Marilou Kiunisala.
