Seda Central Bloc Cebu celebrated the festive season with its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on November 13, 2024. This year’s theme, Bituin ng Pasko, highlighted Filipino traditions, prominently featuring Capiz Parols as a key element. The enchanting event marked the official start of the holiday season, transforming the hotel into a dazzling spectacle adorned with lights and native accents, embodying a spirit of unity, hope, and joy.

The lighting ceremony, attended by Seda’s valued clients, media partners, and guests, began with the official tree lighting by hotel General Manager Ron Manalang and his Department Heads. The evening was filled with festive melodies from the University of the Visayas Choir and The Sisters of Mary Boystown – Minglanilla Handbell Ringers. Guests also enjoyed a specially curated plated menu inspired by modern Filipino flavors prepared by the new Executive Sous Chef Johnbill Degamo and his culinary team. With nearly 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Johnbill has risen through the ranks, bringing his passion and skills honed at renowned hotels and resorts across Cebu.
