“We believe that our lot plan holders should also secure pre-need funeral services to ensure peace of mind for them and their families,” stated Sir Marc Angelo S. Rizon of HOP. “Through this partnership, we can offer a comprehensive memorial package that includes funeral service insurance, viewing hall accommodations, and memorial plots—providing families with a hassle-free and well-prepared arrangement.”

By combining their expertise, the two organizations seek to expand their market reach and introduce a new level of convenience to clients by eliminating the need for travel to distant memorial service providers.

Introducing the Haven of Peace Viewing Chapel

One of the highlights of this partnership is the launch of the state-of-the-art Viewing Chapel, designed to provide families with a serene and well-equipped space to honor their loved ones.

Extendable rooms for larger gatherings

Public comfort rooms and a dedicated convenience store

Spacious balconies for a smoking area

Ample parking space with over 25 slots, including PWD-friendly spaces and ramps

With most viewing facilities located in Metro Cebu, Mandaue, and Talisay, this new development in Lapu-Lapu City provides families a closer, more accessible alternative, eliminating the need to endure long travel times and heavy traffic.

“Our goal is to bring these services closer to the people of Lapu-Lapu City, offering them superior amenities, spacious rooms, and a stress-free environment in their time of need,” added Rizon.

The HOP-CCLPI partnership is built on a mutual goal—to offer a unique, all-in-one pre-need plan that includes:

Beyond offering convenience, this collaboration is expected to expand the sales force and open new market opportunities in Lapu-Lapu City, benefiting both agencies and their clients.

“By working together, we empower both our agents and clients—CCLPI agents can now offer Haven of Peace Memorial plots, and HOP agents can sell CCLPI pre-need plans, creating a win-win scenario for both parties,” said Rizon.

Redefining the Future of Pre-Need Planning

This partnership signals a shift in how Filipinos perceive and prepare for end-of-life arrangements. Rather than treating pre-need planning as a taboo subject, both HOP and CCLPI advocate for early preparation to ease the financial and emotional burden on families.

“Pre-need planning is not about death; it’s about love, acceptance, and responsibility for our families. We want to shift the mindset from fear to readiness and assurance,” emphasized Rizon.

Corporate Social Responsibility & Future Initiatives

While still in the early stages, both companies express their commitment to community-driven initiatives. Future CSR programs may focus on educating families about the importance of pre-need planning and offering financially inclusive solutions.

“Our role in the community is to bring hope and support to every family. We aim to show them love, acceptance, appreciation, and connection, ensuring that no one feels alone in their time of loss,” Rizon concluded.
