Cebu, Philippines – Spearheaded by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cebu Business Month (CBM) 2025 continues its legacy as a key driver of Cebu’s journey towards global competitiveness. From its humble beginnings as “Cebu Business Day” in 1991 and evolving into “Cebu Business Week,” CBM was officially declared “Cebu Business Month” by former President Fidel V. Ramos in 1996 through Presidential Proclamation No. 748.

As it celebrates its 29th year, CBM 2025 proudly carries the theme Padayon Cebu, focusing on resilience, growth, and innovation across industries. This year, CBM will span three months, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive global competitiveness, and accelerate the success of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in an ever-evolving market.

While CBM has been a cornerstone project of the Cebu Chamber for over 29 years, its core values remain clear: to INSPIRE entrepreneurs, to PROMOTE collaboration and synergy, and to catalyze sustainable GROWth by providing a platform for innovation, networking, and knowledge-sharing, with a focus on key sectors such as tourism, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and creativity & innovation to support Cebu’s economic development.

Key Events of CBM 2025:

Opening Salvo (May 30, 2025, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Ayala Center Cebu)

A grand celebration that officially kick off a month-long event highlighting Cebu’s vibrant business landscape, fostering innovation, and promoting economic growth.

Good Design, Good Business Summit (June 5, 2025, Oakridge Studio, Oakridge Business Park)

This event integrates multiple disciplines and sectors to explore and showcase how effective design and strategic planning can drive improved business outcomes.

This year’s thrust will focus on the live and work environments where it will tackle insight, different approaches to provide a good value proposition not only in physical design as well as in strategy in business, branding and operations.

Technology & Innovation Forum (June 20, 2025, Marco Polo Plaza)

To foster innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation by convening industry experts, technologists, and aspiring innovators to explore cutting-edge technologies, develop innovative solutions, and address real-world challenges through a dedicated day of collaborative problem-solving.

Tourism Forum & Experiential Tour (June 26, 2025, from SM Seaside SkyHall to Mactan Newtown Beach)

This forum aims to elevate Cebu’s standing as a premier MICE destination by highlighting its tourism value chain and uniting industry leaders to explore innovative strategies for attracting international events, enhancing visitor experiences, and maximizing economic benefits.

Setting this forum apart from previous years, an exclusive “Hard Hat Tour” will follow in the afternoon, offering an interactive and experiential showcase of Cebu’s emerging MICE facilities, key tourist destinations ideal for event attendees, and the renowned warm hospitality of the Cebuano people.

Business Investment Forum (July 9 (Wed) I 12PM – 5PM I Fili Hotel – NUSTAR Resort Cebu)

Reinforcing the “Invest in Cebu, Prosper in Paradise” brand, the forum aims to promote Cebu as a premier investment destination, reinforcing its potential for economic growth and attracting new investments. The event will empower local businesses, foster economic resilience, and encourage sustainable growth by exploring emerging opportunities across Cebu’s booming sectors.

MSMEs Educational Tour (July 11 (Fri) I 7AM – 5PM I Cebu’s Captains of Industry Players Site)

The tour through a site-visits aims to expose MSMEs to industry best practices, innovative strategies, and operational efficiencies. By learning from successful corporations, MSMEs can enhance their competitiveness, improve productivity, and ultimately contribute to the economic growth of Cebu.

“Cebu in a Bite” Food Festival (July 17-19, 2025, Plaza Independencia & Fort San Pedro)

A food festival showcasing the vibrant street food scene of Cebu. This event offers a unique opportunity to savor a diverse range of local flavors, from traditional favorites to innovative fusion dishes, we aim to honor Cebu’s rich culinary heritage, while supporting Cebu’s local food vendors recognized as MSMEs, and experience the captivating blend of old-world charm and modern innovation that defines Cebu’s culinary identity.

BAICON (July 17-19, 2025, Plaza Independencia & Fort San Pedro)

The Philippines’ biggest gathering of Creators and Influencers, driven to elevate the country’s Digital Entertainment Industry.

Hackathon (August 2025, Mactan-Cebu International Airport)

Bring together technologists, innovators, and problem-solvers to develop creative solutions that address key challenges faced by Cebu’s airport. This event will focus on improving operational efficiency, enhancing passenger experience, and fostering digital transformation within the airport ecosystem.
