CEBU CITY — The 4th Cebu Tourism Hospitality Awards (CTHA) is set to be the biggest and most prestigious yet, as it takes center stage on August 13, 2025, at the newly renovated Activity Center of Ayala Center Cebu. With the theme “From Vision to Excellence,” this year’s awards aim to spotlight the outstanding achievements of individuals and establishments across Cebu’s vibrant tourism and hospitality industry.
The event is organized by the Hotel Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu, Inc. (HRRACI) under the leadership of its current president, Mia Singson-Leon, who has been instrumental in driving initiatives that recognize and uplift industry excellence.
Ron Manalang, General Manager of Seda Central Bloc Cebu and Chairman of CTHA 2025, shared his vision for this year’s event:
“We aim to elevate the prestige of the awards and create a platform that truly honors the excellence of Cebu’s hospitality sector.”

On April 11, Human Resource Managers from various HRRACI-member hotels convened at Seda Central Bloc Cebu to finalize key details such as award categories, judging criteria, and event logistics.
Preparations are now in full swing, with the following key dates confirmed:
- Submission of Entries: April 15 – May 31, 2025
- Screening of Applications: June 1 – July 1, 2025
- Panel Interviews & Media Briefing: July 14, 2025
HRRACI invites all members to submit their nominations starting April 15. Entries may be forwarded to the HRRACI Secretariat. For complete submission guidelines, members are encouraged to contact the HRRACI secretary.
Beyond the awards, the event will feature hospitality showcases at Ayala Center Cebu, providing participants with the opportunity to promote their signature offerings to the public. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses looking to be part of this premier industry celebration.
