One of the highlights of “Beyond Blooms” is the series of interactive workshops and lecture-demonstrations scheduled for Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7. Noteworthy is Vangie Cheng from Manila’s Sogetsu School, who will lead a demonstration on contemporary ikebana forms at 2 pm on April 6. Following this, a lecture and workshop will allow twenty-five fortunate participants to create their own exceptional floral arrangements. The next day, another group of twenty-five participants will have a similar opportunity after attending an enlightening lecture on Japanese flower aesthetics.

Adding to the excitement of the exhibition are the stunning sustainable driftwood sculptures by acclaimed British artist James Doran Webb. Webb’s unique style involves using reclaimed driftwood to fashion intricate and lifelike sculptures of various animals, from majestic dragons and flying eagles to delicate insects.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to gain valuable insights from the talks and develop your artistic skills by crafting your very own ikebana arrangements. Join us for an enriching experience and immerse yourself in the reality of floral and driftwood artworks on display at “Beyond Blooms”.
