Seda Ayala Center Cebu illuminated the Christmas season through its annual Tree Lighting ceremony last November 14, 2024. The momentous occasion highlighted the essence of a true Filipino Christmas. With capiz parols, wooden ornaments, and hand-woven accents, this year’s theme of Sinag ng Pasko was put together by the hotel’s homegrown talents of its Housekeeping team.
The Ayala-owned property showed everyone that Christmas is more than just ribbons, tags and shopping bags. It is about sharing hope, kindness, solidarity, love, and peace to one and all. This is what motivated the premier hotel to once again partner with Smile Train, an international charity focused on providing free cleft surgery and care for those in need. Seda Cebu Hotels’ Cluster General Manager, Gwen dela Cruz, shared the vision and the current situation of the patients whose lives changed because of this advocacy.
Friends from the corporate and media sectors were in holiday spirits while listening to the merry tunes of the KARS Trio, violinist Shem Dominique Gelvez, and Celestial Voices Choir while indulging in festive flavors carefully-curated by Seda’s culinary team — some highlights were their signature artisanal honey-glazed ham, grazing boxes, sweet treats such as lemon cake and chocolate cake, and carvings like roast beef and lechon belly.
