Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) marked its 20th anniversary this month with an engaging Mid-Year Review, highlighting two decades of impactful education and unveiling a series of events for their year-long emerald year celebration. The milestone event gathered parents, teachers, alumni, students, and stakeholders to reflect on CPMS’s journey, achievements, and commitment to holistic Montessori education.

The Mid-Year Review outlined CPMS’s focus on nurturing not just academic growth but also emotional resilience, life skills, and environmental stewardship in its students. Key CPMS consultants and guardians shared inspiring stories of collaboration and innovation, while recognizing the significant role of the school’s community in its success. Also in a very remarkable activity, the parents of the children were given the chance to experience what it is like to be in CPMS. It showcased interactive tasks which made the parents experience and reflect on the nurturing learning environment of their children. CPMS nurtures not only its children but also fosters holistic growth for parents, ensuring a balanced and supportive path to success for the entire family.

In celebration of its 20th year, CPMS announced an exciting lineup of activities aimed at promoting growth, creativity, and community engagement. There will be a CPMS Family Camp, Best Buddies Friendship Walk, a Teacher’s Appreciation Week, a CPMS Recital, and a much-awaited Children’s Summit: Where Innovation Meets Purpose and the Child Shapes the Future which will be a powerful testament to CPMS’s commitment to empowering young leaders and shaping the future. There is also a vision to launch Vivencia Foundation, dedicated to advancing educational innovation and expanding access to Montessori education. Additionally, CPMS will participate in the 1st Asian Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) in Thailand, offering students a unique opportunity to engage in global problem-solving and diplomacy.

Donna Carmina “Mimai” Castelo, an academic expert, Dean of College of Arts & Sciences, SWU-PHINMA, and a CPMS parent, emphasized the unique value of CPMS’s educational approach, “Dr. Maria Montessori had it right. This is the best kind of education any child can have. At CPMS, children are guided gently, lovingly, and holistically to reach their fullest potential.” Teacher Marivic Bathan, the President of Children’s Paradise Montessori School, reiterated, “We stay true to these principles, and the success stories of our students—many of whom thrive despite challenges—are a testament to the strength of this genuinely child-centered system.”

Father Jaque, a long-time Consultant of CPMS and spiritual guide, spoke of the deeper essence of nurturing children when he said that, “Children are not miniature adults; they are our teachers, showing us the essence of life—joy, wonder, and unconditional love. At CPMS, we honor the divine nature of every child, creating an environment where they are heard, respected, and supported to thrive. This is why the school remains a beacon of hope and a true paradise for children.”
