The Provincial Nutrition Council (PNC) has spearheaded the cash assistance distribution to over 900 Barangay Nutrition Scholars and City and Municipal Nutrition Action Officers in the province.
PNC headed first to the municipalities of Burgos and Bacarra yesterday, January 20, providing Php 1,550.00 cash aid each to 84 local nutrition scholars.
Meanwhile, almost a hundred nutrition scholars received their grant on the second day of distribution in Badoc, Pinili, and Currimao, earlier today.
Usually, volunteer kayo at wala talagang bayad.
Simultaneously, the Ilocos Norte Trade and Investment Promotion Center Office, in cooperation with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, has disseminated the “Shop-IN” gift card worth Php 1,000.00, part of its Re-Imagine to Stimulate Economy Program, to 80 persons with disabilities in Badoc and Pinili.— Blessing Angel V.
