It’s all systems go for RCGoldline’s Half Marathon Recovery Run 2022, the very first physical half marathon in over two years happening on Sunday, April 24.
Members of the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and JCI Metro Cebu Uptown along with family, friends and employees will mark the beginning of Cebu’s economic recovery with a half marathon run.
After two years of restrictions and limited physical activity due to the global pandemic, the country, especially the economy, has suffered major setbacks.
But with the easing of restrictions and outdoor physical activities now allowed, the recovery run celebrates life and health as well as hope that economic recovery is within reach.
Come and enjoy the refreshing outdoor experience and get the chance to win exciting prizes during the raffle draw.
Registration starts at P350 for the 3K distance, P500 for the 6K, P600 for the 12K, and P700 for the 21K. This is inclusive of a souvenir shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal, certificate, and post-race refreshments. All runners will also receive Free Smart or TNT Sim card, Gift Certificate 50% Discount Coupon for hot/Ccld Drinks from Figaro Ayala & Horizons 101 branches, Fitbar-free sampling and PR kit, Diabetasol nutrition formula – wet sampling, Diabetasol sweetener – PR kitand Entrasol nutrition formula- PR Kit.
RC Goldline will also give Special Awards for Best in Costume (Male Category); Best in Costume (Female Category); Oldest Runner; Youngest Runner; Biggest Delegation and the Biggest Running Group.

Motorists are advised not to pass these streets on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1AM to 7:30AM for there will be a half road closure of Pope John Paul Avenue, Salinas Drive, Gorordo Avenue, Escario St., Osmena Blvd., D. Jakosalem St., MC Briones St., MJ Cuenco Avenue, Legaspi Ext., Sergio Osmena Ave. (Robinsons Galleria to Plaza Independencia).
Runners are encouraged to follow the guidelines & safety protocols during the marathon:
- Always wear mask before the gun start in your category.
- Take off mask while running.
- Upon crossing the finish line, wear mask again.
- Observe proper disposal of garbage / water cups. Garbage bags are located 70 meters away from the water station. Only runners are allowed to pick up the water cups.
- Only participants with race numbers are allowed to enter the race route. No race number, no entry.
- Participants must secure their personal belongings as there will be no baggage tent provided during the event.
